Everest Base Camp (EBC) Heli Shuttle Trek is one the easiest and coolest trek where the trekkers can go by walking to Everest Base Camp and return by chartered helicopter. Thus, it is quite expensive compared to other treks in the Everest Region, but it is very well suited for those who don’t have enough time but want to take their footsteps at the base camp of world’s highest peak Mt. Everest and Kalapathhar within short period of time.
The helicopter lands at the ground of Kalapathhar view point above the base camp at 5,400 meter. Solo traveler or couple or family can join this trip in Nepal Himalayas. Also, the heli can be shared among a group or can be chartered privately. This is the best way for the travelers with dreams to be closest to Mt. Everest. The helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp can accommodate 2pax, 3 pax, 4 pax and up-to 5 people with full window seats allowing you to enjoy splendid views and scenery of the Everest massif.
The trek commences after a short flight to Lukla Airport with your trekking guide, Lukla is also called as the gateway to Everest. After two nights in the Namche Bazaar, we start your heli-tour of the Everest region, there will be maximum 4 clients and 1 guide per heli. Due to the limit of the weight, you will be allowed to carry your daypack bag but you might be unable to take your luggage bag along with you, in that case our porter will carry them back to Lukla while you are having heli-tour. After the heli tour, you will return back to Lukla and next day, you will return back to Kathmandu via a plane.
